Been away from blogging for a bit. There is this HUGE transition that is taking place in my life. It seems like yesterday I became a stay at home mom, but it was over six years ago...and now in just a few days both my children will be in school full time. Although I knew this day was coming and I tried to prepare for it, I am still asking myself the question; What do I really, really want to do now?
I have meditated every morning for the past 40 days. A shift has occurred inside of me that I know will eventually spill over to all areas of my life. It is during those mornings after meditation that I created my Dream Board for the Full Corn Moon. I had so much I wanted to share that it is spread over four pages in my journal.
I am still in the process of getting my daycare license. Some home improvements must happen before I can be approved. I am happy to say those improvements are on the way as our house is being repaired and painted while I type this. I am purging and organizing and deep cleaning our home...it needs it and I have the added motivation of the daycare potential. Sometimes the idea of daycare seems perfect and other times...well, I am not sure. Either way our house will look good when it is done. In the meantime, I have applied to several places around town with hopes of getting a part time job while the children are in school. No responses yet, But I am positive the best, most happiest path for me will unfold naturally.
In other news we got our first pet. I have never had a pet before. My Mom bought the kids two hermit crabs. They are a little bit more work then I thought. I don't want them to die in a week so I am trying to follow the advice of other hermit crab owners I have researched on line. They are super cute and Maggie was so EXCITED when Ethan's crab changed shells a few nights ago. They are fun to watch!
I am hoping to go to Leah and Jennifer's Creative Play workshop in a few weeks. Still working out the details. Maybe I will see you there!
Here we are at the Eric Carle Museum earlier in August. It was beautiful! I just LOVE Eric Carle. He even has a blog!
Wishing you ALL Much Happiness!
Love the images and the composition of your board ... definitely it feels like 'going places' :) So much awesome luck with the daycare center... and very inspiring to hear about your 40 days of meditation. Thanks for sharing

I love, love your board! So many goodies in there I could spend like forever looking at it, lol. I saw a pottery wheel right off the bat, woohoo you should totally do that. I've always wanted pick that up again. I took a few pottery classes in college and loved it.
Good luck on the job search. I am super impressed with your 40 days of meditating. That my friend, is awesome. I have no doubt what is meant to be will unfold you.
